Trianon - Uptown Living in Dallas

Requirement

Wi-Fi coverage (802.11b/g) for the Cyber Cafe, Pool, and Courtyard for the Trianon. The Trianon is nestled in the prestigious Uptown/Crescent area near the Dallas Business District and Victory Park. Its distinctive architectural identity, created through a fusion of Urban Parisian and French Provincial design elements, combine to create a variety of living options in flats, townhomes, and private villas.

Solution

DSL Broadband from AT&T for access to the internet, a Cisco router and Outdoor Access Point for the Courtyard, a Cisco Outdoor Access Point for the Pool utilizing the AT&T provided router, and a Two-Wire Access Point for the Cyber Cafe and Coffee Bar. The Pool and Courtyard Access Points were powered using Cisco Power over Ethernet.

Cyber Cafe

A hidden Two-Wire 802.11b/g access point provides up to
253 Wi-Fi Connections in the Cyber Cafe and Coffee Bar.

Courtyard

A Cisco Aironet 802.11b/g Outdoor Access Point with integrated antenna was used for
54Mbps coverage to the Courtyard. Due to high usage, a Cisco Router with dual DSL
inputs was added to provide routing for the Courtyard.

Pool

A Cisco Aironet 802.11b/g Outdoor Access Point with integrated antenna was used to provide 54Mbps coverage for the Pool and Barbecue.
